Kenneth Braswell is the founder and Executive Director of Fathers Incorporated (www.fathersincorporated.com), and works collaboratively with organizations around the country, to identify and advocate for social and legislative changes. This leads to healthy father involvement with children, regardless of the father’s marital or economic status, ethnicity, or geographic location. Under the leadership of Mr. Braswell, Fathers Incorporated currently serves as the prime contractor for the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Kenneth (www.kennethbraswell.com) has spent over 27 years in the service of family and community; beginning his career as a radio broadcaster for 15+ years and a community newspaper publisher for 10 years. Eventually, Braswell became the Director of the New York State Fatherhood Initiative, overseeing more than $11 million in programs, conducting a $1 million comprehensive evaluation, and managing the NYS Noncustodial Earned Income Tax Credit. Throughout his career, he has managed over $50 million in Fatherhood Programming.

Braswell is the author of “When The Tear Won’t Fall: One Man’s Journey Through The Intimate Struggles of Manhood and Fatherhood”, “Gentle Warriors”, and his children’s book “Daddy There’s a Noise Outside”; a book that teaches parents how to speak to their children about protesting injustices in their community. He is also the author of his second children’s book Daddy Is Feeling Blue and will release his latest children’s book “Daddy’s Family Tree” in June 2017.

As a much sought after keynote speaker, presenter, trainer and media consultant, Braswell has been featured and mentioned in Essence Magazine, The Crisis, CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Times, The Root, The Huffington Post and numerous of other media outlets. He has appeared as a guest on the Tavis Smiley television show, and has served as a radio host for Smiley, as well. Kenneth has had numerous awards bestowed upon him, including recently receiving the prestigious Ebony MANifest Honors Award, and the inaugural Black and Married with Kids Standards Award.

He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, now Kenneth currently resides in Atlanta. He is a proud father of five beautiful children, an uncle, grandfather, and husband to his lovely wife, Tracy.
