SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
To be eligible for an award, applicants must:
RESIDE IN OR BE FROM AUGUSTA OR ATLANTA, GEORGIA
BE A GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR OR BE CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN AN ACCREDITED POST-SECONDARY DEGREE PROGRAM
HAVE A CUMULATIVE G.P.A. OF 3.0 OR HIGHER
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Each student applying for a scholarship from The Terance Madden Foundation is required to  submit:
A 500-WORD ESSAY
A RECENT TRANSCRIPT FROM HIS/HER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION
SIGN AND SUBMIT A CONSENT FORM
A RECENT HIGH RESOLUTION PICTURE
SELECTION PROCESS
A selection committee will evaluate the applications and select the winners.

The committee will consider:

Community and/or school service
-
Leadership potential
-
Academic achievements and records

Applicants will receive confirmation of application submission. Scholarship recipients will be notified via mail or telephone call.
​
Follow-up: In an effort to ensure all scholarship recipients are matriculating, graduating and continuing to work towards their goals, The Terance Madden Foundation will be tracking the progress of past and future recipients.
​
This will assist us in evaluating the success of the students and the need for future scholarships.
